How do I get my school onboarded?+
Email us at support@gradebox.in with your school details. Our team will set up your account and guide you through the onboarding process, typically within 1–2 business days.
How does attendance marking work?+
Teachers mark attendance for their class with a few taps — recording present, absent, or late for each student. Admins can view and edit records from the dashboard.
Can parents see attendance?+
Yes, parents can view their child's attendance records and receive notifications when their child is marked absent.
Can I edit past attendance records?+
Principals and administrators can edit past attendance from the admin portal. Teachers can edit records for their class within a configurable time window.
How are report cards generated?+
Once teachers enter marks for all subjects, administrators can generate digital report cards with one click and share them with parents directly through the app.
Does GradeBox support custom grading formats?+
Yes. GradeBox supports percentage-based, letter grade (A/B/C), and CGPA formats. Admins can configure the format that matches their school's system.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?+
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login page at app.gradebox.in, enter your registered mobile number, and you'll receive a reset link shortly.
How do I add a new teacher or staff member?+
School administrators can add users from the Admin Panel: go to Users → Add User, fill in their details, and assign a role. They'll receive a welcome notification with login instructions.
How do I delete my account or data?+
Email support@gradebox.in with your school name and registered email to request deletion. We process deletion requests within 7 business days.
